The Hello Project Revival Project (Part 1)

I believe in order to save something we should consider what went wrong. (This is the death post that I've been mentioning, but it will get more positive.)

1. The first sign I can think of was the sub-groups losing their original appeal. The member line-ups often change in Hello Project, but they should avoid losing key elements of the groups.

-Tanpopo loses Kago, Johnson, and Yaguchi
Johnson was devoted to Tanpopo. The transition between the second generation and the third generation caused three out of the four members to leave. The group lost its strength. Tanpopo was brought to life by that four member line up. The odd, but classic Johnson, genki Yaguchi, and sweet, young Aibon. Such dramatic change, so soon, just doesn't work. The new revived unit has a better chance.

-Mini Moni loses Yaguchi and the crazy outfits
Mini Moni had this insane energy that targeted young kids. In this case they only traded Yaguchi for Ai Takahashi. Ai-chan is odd, but she does not possess the same level of energy that Yaguchi has. The group also lost their niche. Mini Moni became this preteen-pop-urban group. The new Mini Moni might return to the old theme, but deep down I believe they still lack a Mika.

-Pucchi Moni fell off the face of the planet
This sub-group had the most potential to survive, but now the new line-up does not resemble any of the past line-ups. (I really need to learn some new words for line-up.) The third generation members should of worked. Ogawa and Yossie both have that genki and strong character traits, and Ayaka had that cool, sexy feel that is similar to the young Goto Maki. I don't know what happened. They could of kept Kei-chan, she wasn't that busy learning the flute. I guess the management dropped the ball. Now they dropped the ball again because the new members do not appear to have the genki-powers to pull this off. They seem nice/fine, and that is all. Meh...

Overall Assessment:
-The new Tanpopo, Mini Moni, v u den, and ZYX have a good chance as long as they revive the same-good-old-styles that these groups once had. ZYX needs to revive the urban theme that they had. I like the current v u den as is, but it would be interesting if they went with the classic sex-bunnies with tons of cleavage look.

-I am worried about Pucchi Moni. The live performance was good, but not as amazing as past performances for Pucchi Moni. I like the members, but not for Pucchi Moni.

To Be Continued...
