FUJIMOTO MIKI (DREAM MUSUME)
Charisma is a adjective to describe someone whom posses "compelling attractiveness or charm that can inspire devotion in others, or has a divinely conferred power or talent." Mikitty is (or was) known for her devoted fans. She is beautiful and has a wonderful singing voice. She has a strong personality to boot. I wonder how her solo career would of gone if she didn't join Morning Musume, but they did need an ace like her at that time.

I've Just Been Thinking Lately. . .
Is Himawari-gumi 2nd Stage the best stage ever? I watched it for the first time and I loved both versions. I've haven't seen that many of the early stages, but this one had so much variety. One was similar to senbatsu and the other was Undergirls combined with a ton of graduates. I might do a poll to see which is the most popular stage. Should I review it?
Why didn't Tsunku abuse the shit out of Mitsui! I mean they gave her a couple of lines for each song, but after Yossi graduated they just shoved her in the back with JunJun and LinLin. I mean, AKB48 needs to use basically the same members to catch new fans, but Morning Musume was small enough they could feature all members. I know they have the whole Aces and support theory, but still. . . It is a freakin' idol group. How many idols group have a high average age? She is the youngest, fresh faced, member: abuse it! Before they had four strong aces: Yossi, Mikitty, Ai, and Reina. On top of that you feature each member with solo lines! Now you have Reina and Ai then a little bit more of Kame and Niigaki. You can't just have Reina and Ai do most of the singing because then, in theory, you might as well just do a duo. But, as Tsunku knows, Reina and Ai are not a strong enough duo to do it on their own. Remember Resonant Blue? The only decent solo lines went to three people. The rest were left as back up singers and back up dancers. WTF Tsunku. . . WTF.
What is with all the up skirt shots of all the members all of a sudden? I know it comes from a magazine, but they have pictures from a while back. AND they keep on doing it. It is not even their real underwear. They wear short shorts under their skirt. Really?
AKB48 fans, I understand you want to make a point. But so do I. (The most common example is RIVER and the coupling song so I'll use that.) The fan favorite is Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara (the Undergirls' track). There is a reason that that song was not the senbatsu/ main song of that single. It is clearly an idol song. The music producers know you are going to buy the single. They know that you love the members and know them. You are the fans, basically you are a constant. If they just wanted to make you, and only you happy, then they would have made it the title song. However, RIVER is appealing to a wider audience (hence it becoming a number one single and AKB48's breakout song). The coupling song keeps their core base happy. Fans will always have something to say about the main track, because it is the main track. Now this might not be completely true all the time, but the standard for the coupling tracks is lower. Like how I thought Hikoukigumo is a great third track (it is a classic and fits the Theatre girls very well), but it should not be a title or (2nd) coupling song. Another example is that my favorite song off their last single is Lucky Seven, but I would never have made that the single. I may like it better than Heavy Rotation, but I have to admit that Heavy Rotation is a better single. I prefer KnKgSD better than RIVER too. I also would not have made that the main song. Also the senbatsu members would not have fit the song as well, but I wouldn't want the typical senbatsu to sing the back up track. Does that make sense?
Idols do not always get along, just like regular people. But they need to say and act like they are all friends. So when I said that I am confident that Ai and Sayu at one point didn't get along; I'm confident. (Cause if they were just joking would Sayu really have that face of disappointment? I don't think Sayu is that good of an actress, plus if it was a joke why would she go with realistic acting.) If you are wondering why I used that ->
picture, it is because Mikitty was on a TV show and she was talking about members she didn't like while she was in Morning Musume. She mentioned Tsuji and Ishikawa, but she also said she is friends with them after she graduated. Tokyohive (blog roll) has a post about it.

Elder Club TV Appearances
Well, I am a huge fan of the elder club. I love watching them talk about their lives now because they can be more honest, plus they have developed more. While I look up to many idols as someone I want to become now. Graduated idols, especially from Morning Musume, I want to become like when I am older. I found someone on YouTube who has uploaded TV segments, with subs, of ex-Morning Musume members. I suggest you want them all, there is only ten and I'm not going to post them all. (I was surprised to find that women hate Tsuji Nozomi!) I would like to share them with you. I found this uploader from C No Evil.

Why Idols Don't Date
Or at least why they shouldn't...
Let me start off with saying that I don't have a personal problem with them having private lives. They work so hard they deserve it! I was about to have a heart attack after the miniature Sae scandal because I was worried about her place in the group. I don't want to see idols being kicked to the side of the curb because they have feelings and needs. I prefer idols that have urges.
Now, I've heard the theories as to why many idol groups have a no dating policy. The fans can't stand to have their fantasies interrupted by thoughts of someone's dirty paws all over their oshimen. I can kind of understand that. I feel protective too. However, I think there are many better reasons why they shouldn't.
I wasn't ever too sure before where I stood on this issue. It is difficult to explore it if you don't see an idol, that you care about, in a similar situation. I figured out that I don't mind from watching 10 Things I Hate About You on ABC Family. (That is the only show I watch on that channel, except for re-runs of Gilmore Girls.) My American oshimen is Lindsey Shaw, a little plus is that she reminds me of Sae. Anyway, I think she is adorable and sexy at the same time. She kissed her love interest on the show, yes I know it isn't real, but I didn't get upset about it. Now, I don't know if she has a romance off screen as well, but I don't mind. BUT, I don't need to hear about it unless she is getting married (so I can wish her the best and be happy for her).
That is just my stance on this issue, but I know some good reasons why they shouldn't besides fans' personal feelings. First of all, it will distract them from their work. The majority of idols are stretched thin as it is with TV programs, recording tracks, promoting, musicals, photo shoots, films and dramas, performing live, radio shows, school, friends, rehearsals and practicing, &ct. Why not add the emotional turmoil and time that a relationship requires. Oh and they probably should eat, drink, and sleep too. I've heard about idols getting sick or injured, trying too hard, and the fans can see that. Then besides that, it is a distraction from their work. They'll have to figure out their priorities, and with all those hormones they might make the wrong decision. (Like how Mari Yaguchi wanted to pick the guy.) Their performance may start to lack, and they'll move down in the group and the rankings. They always could end up pregnant. (Worst case, slippery slope, I know. I'm just giving examples.)
We can also look at examples in the past. Once very popular Hilary Duff didn't do so well back when she was dating Aaron Carter. The media made a whole deal about her fighting with Lindsey Lohan. Then later, she fought over another boy with Nicole Richie. The media tends to make everything about celebrity relationships, they don't care that much about her and her career. Plus, how much do you hear about her now? Jennifer Aniston is only referred to relating to her exs or the fact that she is single. The media wants scandals, not good role models! If we let one girl date, and everything begins to be about her relationship and overshadows the other members, then there might be pressure on the other girls to do the same. Plus, would you not be surprised if the agencies start pushing the girls into these fake romances to get attention? Let us also consider that not all guys are trust worthy. And when you have a public life some will try to get near you with bad intentions.
Let's now turn our attention to idol~land examples: the double trouble Kago Ai and Tsuji Nozomi. Both broke the rules, and both turned out okay. However, even if it all worked out for the best Tsuji still got pregnant (which we both know wasn't planned). Kago Ai isn't invited to graduated Morning Musume appearances. They'll refer to her, but won't say her name. Did you love seeing Mari Yaguchi and Miki Fujimoto just disappear? They are both coming back, after Miki got married and Yaguchi made an apology. Scandals are never a good thing. Relationships are fine.
An easy solution is to not butt in, leave them alone, and get rid of any crazy stalkers. This isn't realistic. Although, it isn't realistic either for them all to stay single until they graduate. It is an unfortunate situation. I guess it is up to the girls. Which is more important: their career & fans or a relationship?

Favorite H!P Performances
These were really hard to narrow down. I got them down to seven, but these are not my top ten or anything. These are performances that I will love for eternity, which is odd because I wouldn't put all of these in the all-time top ten. If I made a top ten I would try to get at least one Berryz and C-ute in it.
