Thoughts of the Future For MORNING MUSUME

Ever since Kusumi Koharu graduated it seems the weaknesses of this group is either becoming more apparent or worse.  Their latest single barely sold more than Idoling!!!.  If you are not a fan of the group already then you probably don't know any of their name's.  (A good article about their treatment by their company.)  They have not added anyone to the group in quite a while.  So here is the new dilemma: graduations.  The oldest members, except JunJun, get the most lines, which makes sense because of seniority.  However, if you are not Ai, Niigaki, or Reina you will get little to no solo lines.  Ai is the oldest at 23, and most likely be the next graduate.  What do you think will happen once she graduates?  How about after Reina or Niigaki?  I get the feeling that no one is going to be added, and that they'll stay dependent on their star members.  The younger members LinLin and Mitsui get no solo lines!  This leads me to believe that Tsunku is going to let this group die out.  They don't have potential.  The majority of Morning Musume is in their twenties, which is when they usually graduate.  The group's name means morning daughters/girls not women!  Plus, if they did bring in new members it wouldn't work if they were 12 or 13 because the youngest member is 17!  Tsunku is going to switch focus on S/mileage and Mano Erina, and possibly Berryz Koubou and C-ute.  So I think it is just a matter of time until Morning Musume disbands.  Unless I see LinLin or Mitsui with more solo lines I don't think this group will last.

Side note:  Sayumi is the only member now with black hair and pale skin.  She really seems out of place now.
