Three-Way Tie, Who Will Win H!P Division?
Hello Division: Three way tie between W, GAM, and Morning Musume OG!
Now, why did you do this to me? If I had more time before the AP Exams I would just let it run for another round, but I don't. Let me think. What makes a good performance in my opinion: when it is better to see the song live versus just listening to it. This makes things easier. First off the list is Morning Musume OG.
Why would I pick them first? The Golden Generation? How dare you! The songs are better, they are better idols, but it sounded, for one, just like the CD version. The performance in itself didn't add anything to it. Besides that, the costumes and staging was, well, not spectacular.
Oh, now this is hard! W and GAM are very different, but in theory the same. W is adorable and throw up rainbows. On the other hand GAM is sexy and have strong voices. W is not as strong in the vocal category but they bring more to their performance. I guess, by my definition, W should win. However, wouldn't the vocals trump everything. Then again, W's voices are good their are just higher. I guess I am going to pick W. What? I was routing for GAM! Sorry girls.

Now, I know what you are thinking. I have something different on my mind. We all know that this is a fan service song. When I saw this I felt bad for the girls. Not the reason that you expect. I feel bad for them because their bottoms are extremely unflattering! If you got it, flaunt it... don't flaunt it in a bad way. I suggest that they exchange their grandma panties for at least boy-shorts. Just cut it down lower or something, just some upper back and stomach. All I have to say is flat buns!

Well this again. I do love Mayuyu, but I have to give this over to Takamina. Her voice is just unbelievable. Mayuyu did a good job, but her voice was overshadowed by one of the other girls. (Takamina looks ten times better with her hair dark and not in that ponytail/bow thing.)
This means that she is the winner of her division! Therefore, here is an extra performance!

AKB48 First Concert Tour Review

Are we ready? Get set... GO! FUCK, excuse my language. My photo uploader is on the fritz again. I just made one for every song too. I guess I'll have to find some online, if I can. This concert is from November of 2006. This is way better than my last review. Here is the problem... I can't find the setlist, and I don't know all the song titles. I'll try my best!
Virgin Love - ALL (Team A and Team K)
I feel the PO-WA! Jeez, their voices just build me up after I was down. My heart just skipped a beat, Tomomi's look into the camera was dwafgduwyg! I guess this is what they are meant to do.

AKB48 has the most complex choreography ever. It isn't hard technique wise, but it probably took a while to perfect it. This is sooo unfair. You can't be that happy and energetic! That close up didn't make any sense until you saw all the beads of sweat. Why are you so dedicated? For me, awhhhh. I'm so warm and fuzzy. Sae stop making me smile!

Mii-chan is always great. Here is the catch, the things that bother me about the other two are not a problem here. Takamina is so relaxed that I actually really like her. Haruna does not seem exhausted. I guess the outfits are a bit tacky. Yup.

It is illegal to say anything bad about this song. I just prefer the member who replaced Meetan in this song. Sorry, I don't know why but I don't like Meetan. The fact that she lived with my precious Lovetan gives her points! I also like the underdogs. Oh the intensity!

I feel dirty watching Tomochin at this age looking sexy as hell. Love this song, performance, let's just move on. I have nothing bad to say.
Nakinagara Hohoende - Oshima Yuko
Oshima has improved in her singing since then. She did a great job here too, but during The Top 100 in 2009 she just blew my mind. Her performance even improved. (that sounded bad for a second)

Another wonderful performance and song. I like these uniforms. Nope, nothing else that needs to be said. Oh wait, there are torches in the background!

These girls aren't just about puppies and rainbows. Their last song there was speculation that it was about enjo kosai (compensation dating). Now this one is about bullying. Amazing performance.
Mr. Kissman - ALL
This is one of my favorite songs, and I do have a ton of those. Maybe it would help Hello Project to have more big groups during the H!P concerts.
Ballad in school uniforms? - ALL
Simple, elegant, lovely. I am starting to tear up a bit. I say 'bit' a lot.
Kiss Me Baby - ALL
This has the same feel that Mr. Kissman had. I like the relaxed pop songs that you can still dance to.
Love Chase - Team A
A great high tension number. (It is getting late and I should be studying and sleeping.)
We Are The Team K - Team K
A high tension, introduction number. Kind of late in the show for that don't you think?
Hana to Chire!!!! - Team K
I was basically devoured by that! I was afraid to move. (deep breath) That is what you call a high tension number! Team K is boss. That song should only be seen, not heard through an iPod or whatever. The song is great on its own, but that was.....

I thought this was SKE48's own song; I didn't know it was a remake. How can they still have this much energy? I feel tired from just watching.

Hello! Project 2010 Winter Kacho Fugetsu ~ Shuffle Date Review
Uwaki na Honey Pie - ALLI loved this opening number. The costumes were cute, and the only one who looked like Kei-chan in her fur coat was Niigaki. (She just looks horrible most of the time with short hair.) I never cared for Country Musume, but these gals do a great job with this song. I like the fact that girls are split up by their shuffle group, not their typical group. Anyway, great way to start things off!
Pen Pen Kyoudai - Shin Mini MoniIt begins, and I'm excited. Then they start singing. The old Mini Moni songs were catchy and crazy, but this is torture. I don't even want to count how many times they said pen. The only one who sounded any good was Kanon? the one from S/Mileage. Poor thing, her hair decoration fell off. Overall... great when they didn't sing. This isn't their fault, completely. It would of been decent if it was a different song. At least they took away those ridiculous cartoon hands.
Mini Strawberry~ Pie
Okay... this is also really repetitive. I can't take two songs like this in a row.
Going On! - Guardians 4
I don't know why they are here. They were only good when there weren't any shuffle groups. Is that anime still going on? I don't know what is worse: waiting for my ears to bleed or falling asleep from a bland song, and a non-impressive performance.

Loved it! I'm interested in the new girl, she seems very quiet. I had a thought while they were performing. First why are they wearing t-shirts with their face on it? Then, wouldn't it be perfect if Miyabi and Airi hated each other. Miyabi is like yes, shuffle groups...LESS TIME WITH BUONO= less time with Airi. Now let's see only three people that's good odds. WTF AIRI AGAIN! How did that happen?

This felt like a filler song. While, I got bored I started to ponder something again. This is by a shuffle group. I guess Hello Project isn't popular enough to do those seasonal shuffles like before.
This is the worst performance of this song that I've seen or heard. It is worse than Rika's sex dance. They looked bored! How am I suppose to get excited? However, Reina's first line sounded awesome.
LOVE LIKE CRAZY - Takahashi, Eri, Captain
One of my favorites of the night. I wish Ai gave some of her lines to Captain. It has been such a long time since I heard this song.
This feels like a filler shuffle group. so who didn't fit in anywhere else? It would of been better if this was Niigaki and some Eggs. Either that or putting together all the original members that are still here.

very nice... sound wise. Not a very stage/ concert friendly song. Maybe if they let the girls walk around! At least do some nice staging, the girls aren't that good if they are restricted.

How can you do this song half-assed? Where is the power? Where is the energy? The good thing is is that it is impossible to give a bad performance with this song. It is just sad and lacking in comparison.
Overview: There were some great performances, (it feels like a lot of) dull ones, and we need new songs for Shin Mini Moni. The classics saved them at times, and no one did better than the originals. It is sad. I do like the costumes for the beginning and ending songs. It was nice to see the girls shuffled. I just think it was a bad night. I've seen them perform the same songs better at the last H!P concert. Nice work ladies, next time drink some coffee. Don't have any sugar either, or you'll crash.
AKB48 Sprout (Online Manga) Chapter 1!
The manga, written by Akimoto and illustrated by Natsuo Kume, follows members of the original Team B before and after their debut. The first chapter follows Mayu during her audition for Team K. Sayaka Akimoto and Sae Miyazawa are also featured. I am really excited to read all these. I found the translation at JPHIP. Thanks to giliru1102's friend for translating to English.
